When you're sniping from a great distance, and being guided by your team, this isn't a problem. The good looking environments don't allow for much exploration, and there isn't the same level of fascinating detail like there was in Dishonored.Įnemy AI can be a little hard to predict. While it never reaches Dishonored or Hitman levels, there is a puzzle element to watching and learning soldiers' movements, and it's fun to get through a level undetected. The night and infrared vision modes are well done, but you rarely need to use them creatively. You can hold your breath, which momentarily slows time, allowing you to take a more accurate shot, and in general it plays like a standard first person shooter. There really needed to be more creative game modes to make multiplayer worthwhile in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. This makes game pretty quiet, as searching for other snipers is a slow, painstaking process. It sets two teams up sniping against each other. Medium difficulty gives you a red dot that helps you allow for distance and wind when shooting, but this is removed on Hard. In these parts you are guided through where to look and who to kill. Some segments see you working with a Spotter, or supporting another team. The story is silly, but takes you through lush jungles, to Sarajevo and mountains in Tibet. It is still the part stealth combat part overt shooter action game that the players know.Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is not a subtle game. However, while there have been vast improvements with the graphics and game modes, it does not fully redeem the gameplay.

The game also now comes with more playable characters, so you can choose other avatars other than Lieutenant Fairburne. The characters, weapons, and vehicles were also remodeled, and beautiful dynamic lighting system has been added to keep up with the ever-changing gaming device models. Since its an optimized version, it now comes with prominent changes, including the upgrade to 4K textures and HDR supports. The game offers improved visuals and a few additional features while giving you the same action-packed experience. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is a remastered version of the classic period shooter Sniper Elite V2. Lieutenant Karl Fairburne is back to give you a thrilling experience in this action game.
